Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong leadership and communication skills
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- capability to handle physical demands of the role
- valid food handler certification if required
Job Qualifications
- Completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
- proficiency in understanding and executing written and verbal instructions
- ability to manage a food service program efficiently
- competency in basic mathematical calculations
- strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- effective emotional regulation under pressure
- ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts effectively
Job Duties
- Create and manage employee schedules
- supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient functioning
- uphold food safety and quality standards
- maintain accurate food safety and temperature records
- ensure secure and organized food storage
- monitor and assess staff performance
- provide guidance and support to food service staff
- keep inventory updated and maintain equipment records
- implement routine maintenance inspections
- cover for missing staff as needed
- participate in team meetings
- encourage positive communication among team members and clients
- stay updated on catering schedules and assist with event preparation
- fulfill cashier responsibilities
- assist with additional tasks assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
