The Culinary Supervisor position at Aramark represents a key leadership role within its Food Services Team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to advance professionally by overseeing food service operations and setting a high standard of performance for the team. Working closely with management, the Culinary Supervisor manages employee scheduling and production processes while ensuring strict adherence to food safety, quality, and hygiene standards. This role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising equipment maintenance, and supporting team members through coaching and performance management. In addition to operational oversight, the Culinary Supervisor participates in coordinating catering events and may support cashier activities when required. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or culinary supervision
  • completion or willingness to complete sanitation training
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to lead and manage teams
  • reliable and flexible availability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
  • commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

  • Completion of a sanitation course

Job Duties

  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • compile production packets
  • supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient functioning
  • uphold food production standards to guarantee safety and quality
  • maintain secure and organized food storage areas
  • ensure meals are prepared and served according to menu and safety guidelines
  • maintain hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • accurately complete food safety and temperature records
  • monitor and update inventory weekly
  • keep records of equipment maintenance needs
  • conduct routine maintenance inspections and recommend upgrades
  • monitor and assess staff performance to foster development and motivation
  • provide guidance to food service staff to ensure operational compliance
  • maintain a safe working environment free from hazards
  • cover for missing staff when necessary
  • communicate regularly with employees
  • participate in meetings with food service staff
  • promote positive relationships among team members and clients
  • coordinate daily catering schedules to ensure timely delivery
  • work sporadic evenings and weekend catering functions
  • perform cashier tasks as needed
  • assist with additional projects as directed by Food Service Director or Manager
