Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a supervisory role within food service preferred
  • completion of a sanitation course prior to or shortly after employment
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage and motivate a team
  • knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • capability to perform basic math
  • physical stamina to handle kitchen environment and tasks
  • commitment to uphold company policies and standards

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in interpreting and executing directives
  • completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
  • experience managing a food service program to optimize costs and efficiency
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • strong organizational and meticulousness skills
  • effective emotional regulation under pressure
  • skill in resolving interpersonal conflicts

Job Duties

  • Scheduling tasks and managing production processes in the workplace
  • create and manage employee schedules
  • compile production packets
  • supervise the day-to-day tasks to guarantee efficient functioning
  • ensure high food quality and safety standards
  • maintain food products in secure and well-arranged settings
  • uphold designated serving times and menu requirements
  • uphold hygienic standards in compliance with health and safety statutes
  • keep accurate food safety and temperature records
  • maintain updated inventory records
  • monitor equipment maintenance needs and propose upgrades
  • monitor and assess staff performance
  • provide guidance and support to food service staff
  • maintain a safe working environment
  • cover for missing staff when necessary
  • communicate regularly with employees
  • participate in team meetings
  • promote positive relations among team members and clients
  • manage catering schedules for timely event preparation and delivery
  • work occasional evening and weekend catering functions
  • perform cashier duties
  • assist with additional tasks or projects assigned by management
