The role of Culinary Supervisor at Aramark is a pivotal position within the Food Services Team, responsible for overseeing day-to-day culinary operations to uphold high standards of food safety, quality, and service. This full-time role involves managing employee schedules, coordinating food production processes, and ensuring compliance with established safety and hygiene protocols. The Culinary Supervisor works closely with managers to guide and support team members while also taking initiative in inventory maintenance, equipment upkeep, and event catering coordination. In this role, the Culinary Supervisor will take charge of scheduling tasks, managing production workflows, and ensuring that food preparation meets Aramark's stringent quality and safety standards. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records related to food safety and temperature logs, sustaining a clean and hazard-free work environment, and supporting the development and performance management of kitchen staff. The supervisor is expected to foster positive communication among team members, cover for absent staff, and participate actively in staff meetings to drive team cohesion and operational efficiency.
The Culinary Supervisor will also be involved in managing inventory and recommending equipment maintenance or upgrades. This position requires readiness to support catering events, including evening and weekend functions, as well as assisting with cashier duties and other assignments as directed by Food Service leadership. Key qualifications include proficiency in interpreting written and verbal instructions, completion or willingness to complete a sanitation course within the first year, and strong organizational, mathematical, and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage stress and resolve conflicts effectively is also essential.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
- completion or willingness to complete a sanitation course
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- basic math proficiency
