Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to pass a drug screen
- Proof of employment eligibility in the United States
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment necessary to perform job functions
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
- Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
- Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience in cook, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, culinary operations, restaurants, supervisor, dietary department, foodservice, hourly manager, or healthcare
Job Duties
- Supervise team members to ensure smooth operations of the dietary services, doctor’s dining, catering, and patient meals
- Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
- Provide excellent customer service for all patients, staff, and visitors
- Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
- Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
