Job Requirements

  • Meet general enlistment or commissioning standards
  • eligibility to serve in the United States Navy with required citizenship or residency status
  • have a high school diploma or equivalent for enlisted roles
  • meet age limits set by Navy policy
  • pass medical, vision, and dental standards including body composition and physical fitness
  • meet character and conduct standards with background screening
  • achieve required test scores such as Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery for enlisted roles
  • be eligible for a security clearance if required
  • demonstrate team orientation and good communication skills
  • possess solid arithmetic and record keeping ability
  • have an interest in culinary arts and food safety
  • be able to follow detailed recipes and sanitation procedures
  • work safely in high temperature and fast paced environments
