Some may attend the Culinary Specialist A School, although this may be waived depending on Navy pipeline needs, with progression reflected through increasing responsibility roles such as watch captain and leading Culinary Specialist. Opportunities exist to compete for special duty assignments including Executive Services, Enlisted Aide, and Instructor duty, which allow for professional growth and advancement within the Navy culinary community.
