Job Requirements
- 2-year college degree required
- 3 years work experience required
- management experience preferred
- high volume food service experience preferred
- ServSafe or similar program certification required
- desired experience working with HACCP principles
- desired ability to speak effectively before groups
- desired experience managing Classified Civil Service, Union, and Student staffs

Job Duties
- Provide leadership to food production team
- supervise assistant sous chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff
- coordinate preparation and cooking activities to meet service deadlines
- develop new menu items
- train staff in food production, preparation, and garnishing techniques
- enforce quality standards and sanitation plans
- requisition food and related products
- manage sanitation procedures in compliance with HACCP and food safety codes
- initiate partnerships with other departments to enhance service delivery
- participate actively in food production activities
