The Culinary Operations Manager role at Texas Roadhouse is a critical position responsible for overseeing all activities in the Back of House, ensuring that every dish meets strict quality and consistency standards. The Culinary Operations Manager leads and mentors the team, ensuring efficient food production, strict compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, and exceptional food handling practices. This position offers a base salary of $70,304 with potential bonuses, leading to total earnings between $70,304 and $90,000 annually, depending on store performance.

As a Culinary Operations Manager, you will supervise food production, uphold recipe standards, and manage inventory and food costs while maintaining a safe and productive kitchen environment. You will also lead performance evaluations, coaching, and training of Back of House staff and assistant managers. Your role involves monitoring food ticket times, conducting quality checks, managing labor costs, and assuring compliance with employment policies. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • supervising food production and preparation in line with established recipes and procedures
  • enforcing compliance with employment policies and ensuring cleanliness and safety in the restaurant
  • monitoring efficient food item ticket times to enhance productivity
  • managing the performance of Back of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions
  • training and developing all key employees including assistant managers and hourly staff through meaningful feedback and regular one-on-ones
  • conducting formal line Taste and Temp checks to ensure inventory management and kitchen safety
  • overseeing proper food handling, maintenance, and storage of kitchen items
  • implementing safe food handling practices
  • managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor expenses
  • directing work for Back of House staff, setting schedules, and assigning tasks
  • training staff on proper equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • participating in the hiring process for Back of House employees
  • creating a fun and safe workplace consistent with core values and operational goals
