Job Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a restaurant manager
  • Experience in food purchasing and production
  • Previous kitchen experience beneficial
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to bend and stoop
  • Proficient in reading and writing English
  • Ability to hear in noisy environments
  • Positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Supervise kitchen operations during shifts with a focus on daily decision-making, staff support, and guest interaction, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food quality
  • Develop and maintain an accurate staffing plan
  • Create schedules that properly staff all shifts
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members through consistent feedback, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Monitor new hires to ensure they complete the necessary training and paperwork
  • Engage with guests to deliver an excellent dining experience and address any concerns they may have
  • Proactively manage shifts by anticipating guest needs
  • Prepare the restaurant and staff for shifts to deliver outstanding service
  • Address any operational issues quickly to maintain high efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and manage costs effectively
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness
  • Maintain high cleanliness and organization standards in food handling and storage
  • Develop talent within the team through coaching and mentoring
  • Ensure proper purchasing, receiving, and storage of food products while minimizing waste
  • Promote clear communication between kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Act as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager, overseeing the entire restaurant operation
  • Implement security measures to protect team members, guests, and company assets
