Job Description

Aramark is a global leader in food services and facilities management, committed to delivering exceptional experiences to millions of guests daily across 15 countries. As a company with a strong mission to bring great things to life for employees, partners, communities, and the planet, Aramark nurtures a workplace culture rich in diversity and inclusion. Focused on skill development and continuous career growth, Aramark offers employees the opportunity to ignite their talents, fuel their passions, and advance professionally in a supportive environment. This commitment is reflected in the company’s dedication to equal employment opportunities and a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals.

The Culinary Manager role at Aramark is a pivotal position that bridges the gap between culinary excellence and operational leadership. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Culinary Manager is entrusted with overseeing all culinary operations to ensure outstanding customer service and delightful dining experiences. This position involves a hands-on approach to team development, showcasing culinary expertise, and enforcing the highest safety and sanitation standards. The Culinary Manager plays a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with clients, managing food costs, and ensuring that the establishment meets its budgetary goals. This role often extends beyond daily kitchen management to include overseeing special catering events and providing culinary instruction or demonstrations to enhance the guest experience.

Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of related culinary experience coupled with advanced knowledge of food industry principles and practices. A culinary degree is preferred but not mandatory for experienced professionals. The Culinary Manager role also demands strong communication skills across verbal, reading, and writing domains, and proven abilities in managing teams and solving operational challenges efficiently. Developing and standardizing recipes, setting presentation and quality standards, and managing kitchen equipment safety are core components of the role. Aramark emphasizes the continuous evolution of this role, encouraging adaptability as duties may grow or shift in response to the company’s dynamic needs.

This position offers an empowering opportunity to lead a team in a vibrant hospitality environment while contributing meaningfully to Aramark’s mission of exceptional service and sustainable practices. The company values passion, leadership, and a desire to create memorable dining experiences, providing a robust platform for career advancement and personal growth within a respected global brand.
