Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • minimum 5-7 years of commercial kitchen or catering experience
  • strong organizational and administrative skills for tracking student progress
  • ability to obtain ServSafe Instructor/Proctor certification within 6 months if not already certified
  • valid driver’s license
  • prior experience in training or mentoring preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5-7 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or catering environment
  • strong organizational and administrative skills
  • ServSafe Instructor/Proctor certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • valid driver’s license
  • prior experience training or mentoring employees in a kitchen setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the CJT program
  • teach culinary and job readiness skills
  • deliver ServSafe training
  • prepare students for employment
  • recruit, onboard, and mentor students
  • monitor progress and evaluate outcomes
  • ensure adherence to program standards and food safety guidelines
  • plan and oversee food production opportunities
  • proctor ServSafe exams
  • manage supply and equipment needs
  • communicate with Culinary Manager for ordering
  • organize, plan, and execute catering and food trailer events
  • maintain accurate records and data
  • build and maintain partnerships
  • support food safety and culinary needs for events
  • ensure compliance with feeding America guidelines and food safety regulations
