Job Requirements

  • Culinary arts degree required
  • Minimum 7 years active culinary experience
  • Experience in QSR or multi-unit service segment preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to travel 15-25% domestically
  • Ability to work five-day in-person week at Newport Beach and Irvine offices

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary arts degree required
  • 4-year bachelor's degree preferred
  • 7+ years active culinary experience
  • 3+ years in QSR and multi-unit service segment experience
  • 2+ years supervisory experience preferred
  • Proven track record in innovation and R&D
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Expertise in menu innovation and product benchmarking
  • Effective communicator and presenter
  • Ability to travel domestically 15-25%

Job Duties

  • Lead culinary team members and projects
  • Manage product innovation and R&D initiatives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers for ingredient standards
  • Optimize core menu ingredients through Stage-Gate Process
  • Plan and execute consumer testing and product validation
  • Collaborate on culinary operations and BOH programs
  • Support culinary strategy execution and innovation efforts
