Job Duties
- Prepare hot and cold dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in assigned stations
- follow standardized recipes and ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation
- keep workstations organized, sanitized, and stocked with necessary ingredients
- ensure timely completion of mise en place, food prep, and set-up for service
- follow strict food safety guidelines and maintain ServSafe, EcoSure, and health department standards
- properly store, rotate, and label food items to ensure freshness and safety
- work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to support day-to-day operations
- communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth service flow
- monitor the quality and appearance of plated and buffet items
- alert supervisors to any potential quality issues
- clean and sanitize work areas and equipment before, during, and after shifts
- ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are maintained and properly stored
- participate in training and learning process
