Job Description
HHS is a private, family-owned company that has been delivering quality service with a focus on honesty and care since its founding in 1975 as Hospital Housekeeping Systems. Today, HHS stands as a reputable provider of a comprehensive range of services including housekeeping, food service, and facility management. Serving nearly 1,000 customers across six diverse industries, HHS has established a strong presence and continues to grow rapidly. The company values its team members deeply, fostering an environment where growth from within is actively supported and future leaders are cultivated. HHS is committed to building a workplace culture that celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that all employees are respected, heard, and given ample opportunity to develop professionally.
We are currently seeking a dynamic Food Service Manager to join our expanding team and lead the food service department with excellence. This management role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality food service aligned with customer and patient satisfaction. The Food Service Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and leading a motivated team to meet both budgetary and service goals. This individual will work closely with dietitians and chefs to curate menus that meet both nutritional value and market trends, enhancing the overall dining experience. Leadership is a key element in this role, as the manager will foster a team environment that encourages respect, morale, and passion, supporting an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.
The Food Service Manager’s responsibilities extend to managing inventory, vendor relationships, scheduling, payroll, and maintaining budget compliance effectively. This position requires a hands-on approach to daily inspections and staff coaching to ensure consistent service standards are met or exceeded. In addition, the manager will champion team-building initiatives to cultivate a positive, safe, and proactive work atmosphere. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strong leadership, communication, and business ethics skills, paired with a customer-focused mindset. There is an emphasis on decision-making capabilities and the ability to prioritize projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Opportunities for career advancement within the company are available, supported by ongoing training and professional development programs. This full-time role offers competitive compensation alongside an attractive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and employee assistance programs. Candidates should be prepared to relocate for promotional opportunities as part of their career growth within HHS.
