Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED required
- associate or bachelor’s degree preferred with a preference for credentials within culinary related field
- must have minimum state (FLDOE/CIE) educational requirements plus one year related job experience
- preferred classroom instructors have teaching and classroom management skills
- experience working with adults with disabilities is preferred
- experience working in culinary industry kitchen is preferred
- valid FL driver’s license and successful level II background check, physical and drug screen
- must be 21 years of age or older
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- educate participants enrolled in the 420 hour entry-level culinary arts certificate program
- prepare relevant assignments, document student progress, accountability, and issues
- utilize lesson plans and activities within the established curriculum
- teach basic culinary arts techniques including knife skills, kitchen setup, operation, and cleanup
- educate students about various support positions within the food service industry
- administer assessments, assign homework, and monitor lab participation
