High school diploma or GED
less than one year related experience or training
ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
ability to write simple correspondence
ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
ability to apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions
physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, smell, sit, climb, balance, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
willingness to work in environment with occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Job Duties

Assists in preparation of food according to established menu
follows departmental procedures including sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules
follows proper cleaning procedures when washing and storing dishes
serves and assists residents in dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner
cleans kitchen, food service equipment, and food storage areas daily
maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents
performs daily general cleaning duties in kitchen and dining room according to schedules
