Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
food service sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements
ability to stand walk bend and squat for prolonged periods
be able to lift push and pull up to 50 pounds
basic reading and writing skills
ability to speak English in an understandable manner
previous experience in food service preferred

Job Duties

assist the Culinary Services Coordinator and Cook in maintaining a clean kitchen
prepare and deliver meals to residents
ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
support the culinary team in daily food service operations
communicate effectively and sensitively with elderly residents
adhere to dietary requirements and special requests
participate in employee appreciation events and trainings
