The role requires a dedicated individual responsible for assisting with meal preparation according to an established menu and following all departmental procedures related to sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules. The position also involves serving residents during breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily while maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen and dining room. The employee will ensure a safe working and dining environment, respond courteously to requests from residents and their families, communicate effectively, and uphold policies related to safety and confidentiality including HIPAA regulations. This role demands teamwork, a positive attitude, and a commitment to training and development, including assisting in training new employees. Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, and sometimes lifting up to 50 pounds. This position is suited for candidates who are compassionate, attentive, and reliable, with the ability to adapt and take initiative. Working safely, adhering to dress codes, and punctual attendance are also critical to success in this role. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- less than one year related experience or training
