Job Description
Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) is one of the world's largest wine companies, renowned for its impressive portfolio of brands that combine rich heritage, exceptional quality, and global recognition. As a leader in the wine industry, TWE operates with a clear and inspiring purpose: Boldly Cultivating. This mission signifies not only cultivating outstanding wines but also nurturing people, partnerships, and the environment to foster enriched and joyful communities. Treasury America’s brands stand as a testament to this vision, delivering unparalleled experiences to consumers, customers, partners, and suppliers worldwide. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, TWE aims to become the world's most desirable luxury wine company, recognized not just for the products it offers but also for the meaningful experiences it creates.
One of TWE's most historic and prestigious labels is Beaulieu Vineyard, a Napa Valley winery established in 1900. Renowned for setting the standard in vineyard quality and winemaking innovation, Beaulieu Vineyard expertly blends time-honored traditions with cutting-edge technology to produce some of the most exceptional Napa Valley Cabernets. The winery remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of excellence and delivering wines that reflect both a legacy of craftsmanship and a passion for innovation.
The Culinary Assistant role at Beaulieu Vineyard is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food, wine, and hospitality. This position plays a vital role in supporting the tasting room’s culinary operations by preparing, assembling, and presenting high-quality food offerings that elevate the overall guest experience. The Culinary Assistant works in close collaboration with the Hospitality and Culinary teams to execute seasonal pairings, maintain organized and sanitary workspaces, and ensure the smooth flow of service. This position requires diligent attention to detail, a solid understanding of food safety standards, and a commitment to delivering hospitality that binds wine and food to create memorable experiences.
The role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about culinary operations within a renowned winery setting while contributing to the creation of meaningful moments for visitors. With an hourly pay range of $22 to $25, the position is based primarily at the Rutherford, CA location, with the possibility of adjustment should other locations be considered. The ideal candidate will have some experience in food handling and safety certifications, a positive and professional attitude, and the physical ability to manage typical kitchen duties including lifting up to 50 pounds.
As part of the TWE team, Culinary Assistants benefit from a vibrant workplace culture that encourages bringing one’s whole self to work, fostering courage, collaboration, and collective success. TWE prioritizes the growth and wellbeing of its employees through access to global career opportunities and structured programs aimed at career development and personal health.
