Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California Food Handler Card and/or Serve-Safe Certification preferred
  • At least 1 year experience in a culinary or food service role preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
  • Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of kitchen areas including prep, pantry, and culinary methods
  • Understanding of wines, wine tastings, and food wine pairings
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with California Food Handler Card and/or Serve-Safe Certification preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently
  • Professionalism with a positive attitude
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Assist with current food offerings including slicing and assembling cheese and charcuterie plates
  • Prepare and set up food programs and stations
  • Deliver culinary products both on site and off site
  • Manage inventory and food needs in coordination with the Culinary Team and Manager
  • Collaborate on menu ideas, tasting food programs, and food and wine pairing
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and production standards
  • Support back of house and front of house duties including weekends, evenings, and holidays
