Job Requirements

  • Possess high school diploma or GED certification
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Have nine months of prior airline or related industry experience preferred
  • Authorized to work in the United States and travel internationally
  • Valid driver license with a good driving record
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • Ability to type 30 words per minute
  • Basic Microsoft Office suite knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
  • Able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Willing to pass drug screening and background checks
  • Able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift and handle objects up to 75 pounds
  • Comply with airline safety and security policies

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • At least nine months of prior airlines or industry experience preferred
  • Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States
  • Must have a valid driver license and good driving record
  • Must understand, read, and write English
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Spanish a plus but not required
  • Possess high school diploma or GED certification
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft suite of products including Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Must also have a basic understanding of similar softwares
  • Able to type 30 words per minute
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Able to handle interruptions and a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain strong attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism
  • Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests
  • Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist all customers in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner
  • Provide check-in assistance, ticketing changes, re-booking of itineraries and special service requests for passengers
  • Check and accept passenger baggage
  • Board/deplane flights and escort passengers to and from aircraft as needed, includes pushing wheelchairs and assisting other passengers with additional needs
  • Comply with all safety procedures and airline policies
  • Provide accurate gate, flight arrival and departure information, as well as answer general inquires
  • Assist unaccompanied minors and passengers with special needs, resolve customer concerns
