Job Requirements
- Possess high school diploma or GED certification
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have nine months of prior airline or related industry experience preferred
- Authorized to work in the United States and travel internationally
- Valid driver license with a good driving record
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to type 30 words per minute
- Basic Microsoft Office suite knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
- Able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Willing to pass drug screening and background checks
- Able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and handle objects up to 75 pounds
- Comply with airline safety and security policies
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- At least nine months of prior airlines or industry experience preferred
- Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States
- Must have a valid driver license and good driving record
- Must understand, read, and write English
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Spanish a plus but not required
- Possess high school diploma or GED certification
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft suite of products including Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Must also have a basic understanding of similar softwares
- Able to type 30 words per minute
- Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset
- Possess strong leadership and organizational skills
- Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities
- Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Able to handle interruptions and a fast-paced environment
- Maintain strong attention to detail
- Be self-motivated and able to motivate others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism
- Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests
- Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks
- Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations
Job Duties
- Greet and assist all customers in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner
- Provide check-in assistance, ticketing changes, re-booking of itineraries and special service requests for passengers
- Check and accept passenger baggage
- Board/deplane flights and escort passengers to and from aircraft as needed, includes pushing wheelchairs and assisting other passengers with additional needs
- Comply with all safety procedures and airline policies
- Provide accurate gate, flight arrival and departure information, as well as answer general inquires
- Assist unaccompanied minors and passengers with special needs, resolve customer concerns
