Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Licensed Paramedic by State Licensing Board
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 2 years working as a paramedic or in the intensive care setting preferred
  • 3 years operation of a motor vehicle required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Licensed Paramedic (PARA) by State Licensing Board
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) certified by American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified by American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified by American Heart Association
  • Experience working as a paramedic or in an intensive care setting preferred
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Assist with cleaning, stocking, and maintaining supplies and equipment
  • Assist with the management of the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) program
  • Communicate and act as a liaison between the patient, family physician, and other agencies, as required
  • Perform Basic and Advanced Life Support pre-hospital assessment and care
  • Perform tasks in the pre-hospital setting under the control of the Medical Director
  • Provide orderly transfer of patient care to receiving facility staff
  • Responsible for assigned ambulance, equipment, and supplies during a shift, as well as security of all equipment and supplies, including scheduled and non-scheduled medications
