Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Licensed Paramedic by State Licensing Board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Valid driver’s license
- 2 years working as a paramedic or in the intensive care setting preferred
- 3 years operation of a motor vehicle required

- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) certified by American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified by American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified by American Heart Association
- Experience working as a paramedic or in an intensive care setting preferred
- Valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Assist with cleaning, stocking, and maintaining supplies and equipment
- Assist with the management of the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) program
- Communicate and act as a liaison between the patient, family physician, and other agencies, as required
- Perform Basic and Advanced Life Support pre-hospital assessment and care
- Perform tasks in the pre-hospital setting under the control of the Medical Director
- Provide orderly transfer of patient care to receiving facility staff
- Responsible for assigned ambulance, equipment, and supplies during a shift, as well as security of all equipment and supplies, including scheduled and non-scheduled medications
