Job Description
This job posting is for a restaurant position at a McDonald's franchise owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. This franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos, branding, and food products, allowing the restaurant to maintain the well-known standards and customer experience of the McDonald's brand. However, it is crucial to understand that the franchisee is a completely separate company and employer from McDonald's USA, responsible for all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald's USA is not involved in employment decisions for this location, ensuring that the franchisee operates independently with respect to workforce management. When hired, employees work directly for the franchisee and not McDonald's USA.
McDonald's and its independent franchisees are committed to creating a valuable work environment by offering opportunities for employees to learn, grow, and succeed. The company provides industry-leading education programs and world-class training to inspire confidence and foster essential skills for career development, whether employees decide to stay within McDonald's or explore other career paths. Over 80 percent of employees express pride in their workplace and would recommend working at McDonald's, highlighting the supportive and empowering culture found in these restaurants. The role of a Crew Team Member at McDonald's is not merely a way to earn a paycheck; it is also a chance to acquire life skills and personal growth in a dynamic work environment.
A day in the life of a Crew Team Member involves connecting with customers to ensure a positive experience, assisting with orders, and preparing McDonald's world famous food items. Team members collaborate closely with other crew and management to meet daily goals while maintaining a fun and motivating atmosphere. Keeping the restaurant clean and welcoming is also an important responsibility. McDonald's values individuals who bring an outstanding attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced team environment. Comprehensive training is provided to support employees in excelling at their roles.
Positions are available for both part-time and full-time schedules, including breakfast, lunch, late nights, and weekends to accommodate various availability needs. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible to work as a crew member at this McDonald's franchise. The company promotes growth and education with its Archways to Opportunity programs offering high school completion courses, upfront college tuition assistance, and English language classes. These benefits help employees pursue their ambitions and improve their futures.
Additional benefits from working at this franchise-operated McDonald's include competitive pay, a 401k plan, unpaid leaves of absence, discount programs, and free or discounted meals. This role presents a unique chance to develop professionally, meet great people, and gain practical experience in a world-renowned restaurant chain. Job applicants should note that McDonald's USA will neither receive a copy of their application nor engage in any employment decisions. All application information is handled solely by the franchisee who owns and operates the restaurant.
