Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of crew payroll experience or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of airline and aviation terminology
  • Proficiency with various IT systems that affect pay like CrewTrac, Workday, Payroll system reporting
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of crew payroll experience or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of airline and aviation terminology
  • Proficiency with various IT systems that affect pay like CrewTrac, Workday, Payroll system reporting
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Aviation experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate tasks necessary to complete pilot or flight attendant bi-monthly payroll within the Crew Pay Department
  • Coordinate monthly, weekly, and daily workflow schedules to ensure accurate completion of all tasks related to payroll
  • Lead monthly payroll audits to ensure accuracy
  • Foster strong working relationships and trust with crew members and cross departmental leaders in Labor Relations, Scheduling, Flight Ops, HR, IT, and the payroll department at the Shared Services Organization (SSO)
  • Support the Finance team in establishing departmental goals and objectives that directly impact Crew Pay strategy
  • Identify, evaluate, and help to implement process improvements to help make Crew Pay processes more efficient
  • Assist in the training and development of new Crew Pay Team members
  • Facilitate new hire Crew Pay presentations
  • Administer paid and unpaid leave by working with the Leave team and Workday reports
  • Run and review pay reports that feed Workday
  • Evaluate assigned audits in the payroll system and input corrections in the pay system and crew schedules in CrewTrac
  • Input daily coding requirements in the payroll system and crew schedules in CrewTrac
  • Analyze and answer discrepancy questions from the crew in the payroll system to reach a solution
  • Answer crew questions across various mediums including the phone with a customer-service oriented mindset and remain professional in all situations
  • Perform traditional duties expected of a Crew Pay Auditor, including resolving pay discrepancies, educating crew members and other departments on correct coding for pay, generating payroll reports and resolutions to the SSO, leading payroll presentations to new hires, and maintaining/updating crew members contractual pay rates
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
