Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related fields
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and ensure accuracy in payroll processing
  • Experience interacting with labor unions and understanding of CBAs
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience or willingness to learn payroll systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in crew pay, accounting, payroll, auditing, data analysis, or scheduling
  • Proven ability to focus on detail with high accuracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a commitment to confidentiality
  • Effective time management skills and resilience under production deadlines
  • Experience working with labor groups and collective bargaining agreements
  • Ability to analyze current processes and promote change
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel (formulas and graphs), MS Outlook, and MS SharePoint
  • Exercise judgment and initiative with limited supervision
  • Ability to initiate projects independently
  • Expertise in labor contract pay applications (preferred for advanced levels)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Minimum age of 18

Job Duties

  • Process accurate pay for crew members per collective bargaining agreements
  • Provide excellent customer service to Flight Attendants, Pilots, and management regarding pay issues
  • Research and resolve payroll questions, collaborating with other teams as needed
  • Communicate with union representatives on crew pay contractual requirements
  • Identify and recommend process improvements with IT, Crew Planning, Crew Scheduling, and Corporate Payroll
  • Participate in cross-team meetings and serve as a subject matter expert
  • Train and guide new and existing pay analysts
  • Review and adjust crew rosters in payroll systems
  • Lead analysis and reporting of payroll metrics and trends
  • Represent the team in division, business, and project meetings
  • Drive departmental change initiatives in collaboration with management
  • Support testing of payroll-related software systems
  • Manage FA Vacations process including bidding, payouts, and auditing
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to payroll team members
