Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain committed to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food prepared with wholesome ingredients without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Established as a leader and innovator in the food industry, Chipotle operates restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. What sets Chipotle apart from typical fast-food establishments is its dedication to food quality, transparency, and sustainability. The company is unique in its size for owning and operating all of its restaurants throughout North America and Europe, ensuring consistency and quality control across all locations. At Chipotle, every employee is part of a mission focused not only on delivering great food but also on advancing sustainable farming practices and driving conversations about food's future. The company values diversity, equity, and inclusion and nurtures a people-first culture, which reflects in its exceptional customer service and team atmosphere.
Chipotle offers a distinct opportunity for individuals looking to build a rewarding career in the food service industry. Unlike many fast-food establishments, Chipotle provides comprehensive training that equips team members to confidently handle different stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo areas. This role is perfect for passionate, enthusiastic individuals whether they come with previous food service experience or are entering the workforce for the first time. The company’s clear career path is one of its hallmark features—over 80 percent of managers were promoted from Crew members, demonstrating Chipotle’s commitment to internal growth and development. Team members take pride in hand-preparing real food every day without the use of freezers, microwaves, or can openers, emphasizing freshness and quality in every meal.
Employees at Chipotle benefit from a positive and inclusive workplace culture that encourages learning, growth, and teamwork. The company also prioritizes competitive compensation and offers a robust benefits package to support the wellbeing and advancement of its staff. This includes full tuition assistance for select degrees, free food, medical, dental, and vision insurance, digital tips, paid time off, holiday closures, and flexible full- and part-time opportunities. The base pay for this position ranges from $17.25 to $18.25 per hour, and actual pay depends on factors such as skill level, experience, and education. This role represents an excellent chance to join a company that is not only changing the face of fast food but also actively fostering a culture of respect, belonging, and sustainable practices that impact communities worldwide.
As part of the hiring process, Chipotle is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified applicants with disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and other applicable laws. This commitment extends to its diverse workforce and inclusive hiring practices. By joining Chipotle, team members become part of a brand with a demonstrated purpose, making real food accessible to everyone while enjoying opportunities for professional and personal growth within a supportive and dynamic environment.
