Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a bakery, cafe, or quick service restaurant preferred
- meet safety and sanitation standards
- available to work flexible shifts including overnight
- ability to maintain a professional appearance
- demonstrate customer service focus
- ability to work as part of a team
- ability to follow health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a cafe or quick service restaurant preferred
- previous experience as a baker or finisher preferred but not mandatory
- previous experience as a cake decorator preferred
- ability to follow instructions for recipes and sanitation guidelines
- excellent communication and listening skills
- manual dexterity for cake decorating
- ability to adapt to varying customer volume
- positive and enthusiastic approach
- teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest satisfaction, service speed, and product quality
- meet safety and sanitation standards
- anticipate and understand guests' needs and exceed their expectations
- work well in a team environment
- bake and finish baked goods including bagels, croissants, and muffins
- execute proper pre-bake, baking, and post-bake procedures
- decorate cakes according to design standards
- manage cake and icing inventory
- maintain positive and professional customer interactions
