Job Description
Creperie Le Bon Temps is a charming and fast-paced French-inspired cafe located in Lake Oswego, known for its artisan crepes, quality espresso, and made-to-order food. This small establishment is dedicated to delivering an authentic French cafe experience with a strong focus on craftsmanship and quality ingredients. The cafe prides itself on a welcoming ambiance that invites guests to enjoy a relaxing yet vibrant atmosphere while savoring delicious crepes and thoughtfully crafted menu items. We are currently seeking a weekend crepe cook to join our dynamic team. This role is primarily a kitchen position with the opportunity for cross-training across front of house duties, including barista tasks and guest interaction. The weekend crepe cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking both sweet and savory crepes as well as assisting in the preparation and execution of other menu items during service. While previous kitchen experience is strongly preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate in the art of crepe-making. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for food and a desire to contribute creatively to the menu development process. The role requires weekend availability, specifically Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential for additional shifts and hours as the business grows.
Compensation for this role ranges from $16.30 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience, plus pooled tips averaging $3 to $6 per hour. The position offers a collaborative and supportive work environment where team members assist in multiple areas to ensure smooth service flow. Responsibilities include maintaining an organized and efficient workstation, working swiftly during busy periods, supporting front counter operations, and participating in overall team duties such as dishwashing and bussing tables. Candidates who are enthusiastic about food, detail-oriented, efficient under pressure, and eager to support their team will find this role rewarding. - prepare and assist with other food items on the menu
