We are currently seeking a passionate and highly creative Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. This is not a clipboard chef role but a working Executive Chef position for a culinary leader who thrives on the line, cooks with intention, and displays outstanding leadership in a hands-on cooking environment. With a salary range between $100,000 and $110,000, this role offers the opportunity to direct and evolve a seasonal Mediterranean-inspired menu while managing daily kitchen operations. The Executive Chef will be immersed in recipe creation, food preparation, inventory management, and staff development, ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently and consistently delivers exceptional dishes.

The successful candidate will have real menu freedom but must earn it through disciplined execution, consistency, and strong leadership qualities. This role demands a deep passion for food, wine, and the guest experience, along with the ability to balance creativity with operational rigor. You will cultivate strong relationships with farmers, fishers, foragers, and purveyors to maintain the highest quality ingredients. Leading by example, you will recruit, train, develop, and inspire a high-performing kitchen team, all while upholding the highest food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.

Working in a high-volume, demanding kitchen, the Executive Chef must handle volume and pressure with confidence and calm professionalism. The position requires dedication to administrative duties such as costing, inventory control, and kitchen systems, supporting sustainable and profitable operations. Physical resilience is important, as the role involves prolonged standing, bending, lifting up to 45 pounds, and repetitive motions.
