  • Prior experience in food service preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and multitask

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and portion guidelines
  • Ensure freshness and presentation of each plate or deli item
  • Support cafe and deli services with fast, accurate, and friendly food preparation
  • Minimize waste and maintain clean, organized prep areas
  • Collaborate with cooks and servers to deliver an exceptional dining experience
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) system when covering deli orders
  • Follow food safety standards and hygiene protocols at all times
  • Assist with inventory, restocking, and cleanliness of workstations
  • Communicate effectively with culinary leadership, peers, and dining staff
  • Stay organized, self-motivated, and calm in fast-paced situations
  • Be flexible and willing to support where needed across the kitchen and dining spaces
