We are excited to announce an opening for the position of General Manager at one of our beautifully renovated upscale properties near the University of California Riverside. This location boasts some of the most stunning guest rooms in Riverside, CA, featuring modern décor and a calming color palette designed to provide a tranquil atmosphere. Whether visitors come for business or leisure, the property offers complimentary amenities such as a state-of-the-art lobby with flexible workspaces, a comfortable lounge area, high-speed free internet access, and a fully equipped business center. Dining options include The Bistro, where guests can enjoy a healthy egg white frittata for breakfast, a flatbread for lunch, or a flavorful Asian chicken salad for dinner.
As the General Manager, you will be the driving force behind everything that makes this property thrive. You will lead all aspects of hotel operations to ensure optimal financial performance, high service standards, and full compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise in sales and budget management will be crucial for maximizing revenue streams and boosting profitability. Armed with strong leadership skills, a talent for systems management, and a genuine passion for exceeding guest expectations, you will inspire your team to deliver exceptional hospitality.
In your role, you will leverage technology and data-driven insights to streamline processes and make informed decisions quickly. Maintaining strong relationships with owners, business partners, and community leaders, you will serve as the hotel’s ambassador and foster connections that enhance property reputation and business opportunities. Your dedication to guest satisfaction will be demonstrated by your ability to handle challenges with a positive attitude and create memorable stays that earn five-star reviews.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive benefits package, including daily pay options, medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability insurance, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and a 401k retirement plan. Successful candidates will have at least six years of progressive experience in the hotel or related industry or a combination of education and experience meeting the specified criteria. A valid driver’s license applicable to the state is also required for this role.

Job Requirements
- a 4-year college degree with 4 to 5 years of related experience or a 2-year college degree with 5 to 6 years of related experience or at least 6 years of progressive experience in hotel or related field
- valid driver's license for the applicable state
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in hotel management software
