We are currently seeking a skilled and personable Restaurant Server to join our Food & Beverage team under the direction of the Food & Beverage Director. This role is integral to ensuring that guests receive exceptional service while enjoying their meals and beverages. The Restaurant Server will be responsible for managing 3 to 4 tables per shift, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the hotel’s food and beverage offerings, and using computer systems to efficiently process orders. Beyond just serving food and drinks, the ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact with guests swiftly and courteously, handle various payment methods accurately, and maintain cleanliness and operational flow within the restaurant. Monitoring alcohol consumption responsibly, including verifying guests’ ages, is also a vital part of the position, emphasizing our commitment to legal compliance and guest safety. Attention to personal grooming and presentation is essential, reflecting the professionalism and high standards of our establishment. Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
minimum of 6 months server experience preferred
experience in hospitality preferred
basic math skills and cash-handling ability
applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card or ability to obtain as needed
able to walk and stand throughout shift
able to frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs
able to reach, kneel and stoop repeatedly

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Serve 3 to 4 tables as determined by management
complete knowledge of hotel’s food and beverage preparation
use a computer to ring orders on a check
interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
accept different types of payment and make change
maintain specific side-work and ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
clear and reset tables
check identification of guests for legal age to consume alcoholic beverages and refuse service politely if underage
monitor guests’ behavior and alcohol consumption
treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations
report to work in neat and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and hygiene
perform other duties as assigned
