Job Duties

Bag groceries at checkout for customers
Strive for at least five items per bag while preventing damage
Follow best practices for bagging with reusable, plastic, and paper bags
Assist customers by removing merchandise from the bottom of baskets
Offer help loading bags into customers' cars
Perform basic shelf conditioning
Inform customers of grocery specials
Return merchandise to store shelves
Gather basket carts and return them to designated areas
Clean spills and collect trash inside the store and parking lot
Clean all areas inside and outside the store
Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
Understand the store layout and locate products
Conduct price checks for cashiers
Reinforce safety programs by complying with procedures and reporting unsafe conditions
Adhere to food safety regulations
Inspect equipment and report repair needs
Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
