Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout for customers
- Strive to place at least five items per bag without damaging contents
- Follow best practices for bagging items in reusable, plastic, or paper bags
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from the bottom of baskets
- Offer help loading bags into customers' vehicles
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking
- Inform customers of grocery specials
- Return merchandise to store shelves
- Gather and return bascarts to designated areas
- Clean spills, collect and pick up trash inside store and parking lot
- Clean all areas inside and outside of store
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Understand store layout for product location and conduct price checks
- Reinforce safety programs and notify management of unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Inspect equipment and report needed repairs
- Create a welcoming environment by answering product questions
- Comply with local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
