Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages of 50 lbs or more with equipment or assistance
- Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Must have valid license for assigned vehicle type
- Must pass medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to meet qualifications in section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Medical exam clearance in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Neat appearance
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles for the delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service
- Follow all safety and Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Perform medical exams as required
- Work in a safe and alert manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
