The Courier Team Lead role at Pace is central to maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics department. This full-time position is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with compensation of $20.00 per hour. Reporting directly to the Logistics Supervisors and the Logistics Manager, the Courier Team Lead will play a crucial role in orchestrating daily logistics activities. This includes coordinating shipments, receiving goods, managing transportation tasks, and collaborating across various functional teams to optimize operational workflows. The role demands a proactive approach in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance logistics performance while ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
In addition to managing the logistics flow, the Courier Team Lead will be responsible for handling warehouse inventory levels and implementing control measures such as regular cycle counts and reconciliations. The position also requires hands-on courier duties, including picking up, transporting, and delivering samples, documents, and materials. Preparation and safety checks of vehicles or trucks for daily operations are part of the responsibilities, supporting a smooth and secure logistics cycle. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a closely related field preferred but not required
- Three years of professional experience in logistics or courier management
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered
- Active driver's license
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Capacity to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects weighting up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
- Vision to read printed materials and computer screens
- Hearing and speech ability to communicate in person or over the telephone
- Planning, organizing, and administering assigned activities, programs, and projects
- Knowledge of logistics principles and practices
- Ability to train others and lead teams
- Proficient in business English including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Capability to create and foster working relationships with clients, coworkers and management
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist Logistics supervisors and manager in coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and transportation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and reduce operational bottlenecks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for shipments, inventory, and other logistics activities
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement efficiency initiatives to enhance overall logistics performance
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Help manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs
- Implement effective inventory control measures, including regular cycle counts and reconciliations
- Pick up, transport and deliver samples, documents, materials and other items as needed
- Review, complete and process documents, databases, and related materials and information for sample pick up, transport and delivery
- Prepare vehicle or truck for daily operations, including documents, safety, and related areas
