Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent relevant work experience
- valid driver’s license
- ability to operate a motor vehicle safely
- safe driving skills
- ability to maintain the safety and integrity of samples during transit
- client relation skills
- ability to manage time effectively to facilitate scheduled deliveries
- ability to follow delivery procedures and handle common delivery issues
- physical ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in varying environments including laboratory settings
- ability to wear required safety equipment such as masks, laboratory coats, and insulated gloves
- willingness to adhere to safety policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Exhibit safe driving skills and maintain a driving record acceptable to company’s insurance carrier
- pick up samples from clients at the arranged times and deliver to the laboratory
- provide courteous client service and communicate emerging client requirements to the laboratory as needed
- ensure departmental standard operating procedures are followed at all times
- check samples regularly to maintain correct temperature
- maintain records of mileage, vehicle maintenance, and other departmental logs
- maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform required maintenance
- run errands for laboratory personnel to facilitate timely analysis
- assist laboratory personnel with preparation and analysis of samples when needed
- assist with washing of laboratory equipment
- support corporate quality and continuous improvement processes
- identify and report departures from quality systems or test procedures
- adhere to all safety policies and perform related duties as required
