Located in Dallas, Texas, this opportunity offers a full-time courier/logistics position with a Monday to Friday schedule, working 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. This role is benefit-eligible and integral to the patient care process by ensuring the safe transport of medical specimens, reports, records, and supplies between laboratory facilities and healthcare provider locations. - Confident vehicle operation in all weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to work independently under time constraints
- Physical capability of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to follow privacy and security standards
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Reliable and customer-focused attitude
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record for the past three years
- Confidence operating vehicles in various weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints
- Physical capability for light to medium lifting up to 50 pounds
- 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous
Job Duties
- Perform a vital part of the patient care process by transporting reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between lab and healthcare provider locations
- Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe vehicle operation in all weather conditions
- Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
- Maintain excellent driving record and adhere to all traffic laws
- Work independently with minimal supervision under time constraints
- Follow privacy, confidentiality, and security standards when handling Protected Health Information
