This opportunity is for a full-time 2nd shift courier position located in Austin, Texas. The role is benefit-eligible and involves being a critical part of the patient care process by ensuring accurate and timely transport of medical specimens, reports, records, and supplies between laboratory and healthcare provider locations. The courier acts as a frontline healthcare hero, representing Sonic Healthcare's mission to deliver exceptional service and support healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care. Key responsibilities include safe operation of a motor vehicle under various weather conditions, maintaining compliance and quality control, and consistently providing customer-focused service. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record for the past three years
- Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints without close supervision
- Physical capability of light to medium lifting up to 50lbs

Job Duties
- Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure that reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens are successfully transported between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations
- Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle rain or shine
- Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
- Operate vehicles confidently in all weather and road conditions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures surrounding PHI confidentiality
