Job Requirements

  • Ability to see, hear, read, and write in English
  • Basic math and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal directions
  • Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests, employees, and managers
  • Possess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate point-of-sale system
  • Ability to manage own workflow and resolve questions with supervisor
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months to two years related experience preferred
  • Alcohol certification required
  • Food Handler's Certificate as required
  • Ability to stand and/or walk throughout entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand motions, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb
  • Adherence to company dress code and grooming policies

Job Qualifications

  • Six months to two years of related experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Alcohol Certification required

Job Duties

  • Know and follow posted schedule and adhere to clock in/out time
  • Provide timely and courteous service to guests at the counter and throughout the restaurant
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, wines, beers, and cocktails
  • Follow company, state, and county sanitation standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Keep a friendly, helpful, positive attitude
  • Follow Willie’s operating policies and steps of service
  • Welcome and greet guests according to service guidelines
  • Assist fellow team members in meeting guest needs
  • Answer questions and make recommendations about food, beverages, and restaurant services
  • Understand and apply procedures for serving guests with allergens
  • Take and confirm food and beverage orders
  • Follow alcohol awareness procedures and notify management of issues
  • Deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Assist other bartenders and servers in providing outstanding service
  • Thank guests and invite them to return
  • Perform side work and cleaning duties
  • Attend company meetings and training seminars
  • Keep supervisors informed of guest service issues
  • Adhere to dress code and grooming policies
  • Treat guests and team members with respect and courtesy
  • Portray a favorable image of the restaurant
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management
