As a company, Tatte focuses on high-quality ingredients, genuine hospitality, and a team-oriented culture that reflects its core values. The cafe operates as a part-time employment environment, providing team members with competitive pay rates and opportunities for growth within a supportive workplace.

The Front of House Team at Tatte plays a crucial role in welcoming guests and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Positions are divided primarily between Counter Team Members and Baristas. Counter Team Members are responsible for engaging guests, providing detailed product knowledge, operating point-of-sale registers, and maintaining workspace cleanliness and organization. Baristas, on the other hand, focus on showcasing their artistic coffee skills by handcrafting creative coffee beverages and maintaining equipment standards. Both roles demand passion, warmth, and a strong ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced cafe environment. Employees are expected to embody Tatte's mission and core values, delivering authentic hospitality and engaging communication with every guest interaction.

Team members benefit from flexible scheduling with shifts that include afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, accommodating varying availability. Barista candidates ideally possess at least one year of experience with manual espresso equipment in a busy cafe or restaurant setting. This role requires a dedication to excellence in beverage preparation, adherence to recipe and presentation standards, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the workspace. Beyond technical skills, the position encourages a deep knowledge of Tatte’s offerings and a genuine desire to assist wherever needed within the team.

Tatte offers competitive wages starting at $11.50 per hour plus tips for counter roles and $13.00 per hour plus tips for baristas, with typical earnings ranging between $18 and $22 per hour including tips. The company provides a 401(k) retirement plan with a vesting match, health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees, vacation time after one year of full-time service, and access to employee assistance programs. Additionally, team members enjoy free drinks, discounted meals, flexible schedules without late-night shifts, and promising opportunities for career advancement.

This part-time role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering excellent guest service and contributing to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Employees must be capable of handling the physical demands of the position, including standing for extended periods and lifting over 50 pounds. Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
