Accurately managing transactions is also a key aspect, involving price calculations and handling payments via cash or credit card. Beyond customer interaction, Counter Staff support store operations by opening and closing the store, meeting daily goals, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the counter areas. This role demands adaptability as it requires working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and the physical ability to stand for extended periods. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- basic math skills
- physical capability to stand for extended periods
- reliable and punctual

- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

- manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, build rapport, identify needs, and resolve issues or complaints professionally
- perform check-in/check-out tasks, tag and spot-check garments, and organize items per customer requests
- accurately calculate prices and handle cash/credit transactions
- ensure all garments meet Tide Dry Cleaners' quality standards
- help train new employees in store procedures and processes
- open/close the store, set and meet daily goals, and maintain a clean, organized counter area
- work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, standing for extended periods
- perform additional tasks as assigned
