Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
- Ability to perform motions including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Ability to use knives and cutting equipment safely
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools such as box cutters and electric pallet jacks
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to temperature ranges including below freezing and above 90 degrees Fahrenheit

Job Duties
- Ensure fresh and appealing seafood displays by checking quality and rotating products
- Maintain accurate department signage and pricing
- Stock and organize back stock properly
- Keep work and shopping areas safe, clean, and well-organized
- Assist with sampling programs by maintaining sample areas
- Clean cases, glass, signs, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains
- Prepare seafood including skinning, boning, cooking, and smoking fish
- Box, label, and date cooked fish
- Participate in periodic inventory checks
- Arrive on time, properly dressed and groomed
- Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling
- Answer phones and pages promptly and courteously
- Follow health, sanitation, weights and measures, and safe work practices
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties accurately
- Report safety hazards and violations immediately
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
