Job Description

Interim Inc., a residential treatment program operating on a social rehabilitation therapeutic community model, is seeking a Counselor IB. The company's mission is to provide services and affordable housing to support members of the community with mental illness, enabling them to lead productive and satisfying lives. Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Two years of experience in a related field
Good written and oral English communication skills
Ability to work as a member of a team and accept supervision
Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries while working closely with clients and staff
Organized, responsible, flexible, empathic, and able to relate effectively with clients and community members
Ability to learn and apply principles of social rehabilitation
Valid California driver's license
Auto in safe operating condition
Auto liability insurance
Good driving record
Proof of authorization to work in the United States as required by Immigration and Reform Act of 1986
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
BA in related field and knowledge of community resources desirable
