This opportunity is for the position of Counsel or Senior Counsel, with the title commensurate with experience, within the Constitutional & Civil Rights Litigation Practice Group at the firm's Baton Rouge, Louisiana office. The role is designed for candidates with a solid background in defense litigation who are eager to join a dynamic litigation team handling a national practice with an emphasis on federal court class actions. The team is committed to providing top-tier legal representation to its clients, focusing on strategic defense and trial preparation-related work.
In this position, the successful candidate will engage in a broad spectrum of litigation activities that include trial preparation which covers strategic case planning, discovery processes, detailed records review, and conducting interviews with clients and witnesses. The role requires active participation in depositions, both taking and defending, preparing and arguing complex motions, and crafting compelling legal briefs and memorandums that are based on thorough research and sound legal analysis.
