Job Requirements

- physically capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for extended periods
Job Qualifications

- completion of ongoing training as outlined in Cosentino's Learning Plan
- strong customer service skills
- ability to follow health and safety protocols
- aptitude for operating bakery equipment
- basic math and reading skills
- verbal and interpersonal skills for positive interaction
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- assist customers in their shopping experience by producing, stocking and packaging high quality baked items
- merchandise cases to ensure fullness, freshness, and attractiveness of displays
- meet or exceed productivity standards
- efficiently bake all items as requested by the Bakery Manager
- accurately and courteously answer customer questions about store items, procedures and policies
- rotate fresh products to prevent stale or outdated merchandise
- restock bakery ingredients daily and notify manager for reorder
- unload and stock incoming bakery shipments
- maintain a clean and safe work area
- comply with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
- operate and maintain bakery equipment safely
- demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- use basic math and reading skills
- promote sales by suggesting products and offering samples
- resolve customer complaints professionally
- support company tasks assigned by management
