Job Description

Aramark is a global leader in food services, facilities management, and uniform services, proudly operating in 15 countries around the world. Committed to delivering exceptional service, Aramark serves millions of guests daily through dedicated teams focused on quality, safety, and operational excellence. The company's mission is firmly rooted in service, united by a purpose to do great things for employees, partners, communities, and the planet. Aramark promotes an inclusive work environment where equal employment opportunity is a priority, ensuring that every team member can participate in all aspects of the company regardless of race, color, religion, or other protected characteristics.

As a Corrections Oversight Worker at Aramark, you will play a critical role in supervising the food preparation activities within correctional facilities. This position involves overseeing inmates who assist in meal production, making sure that all food is prepared according to production plans, safety standards, and sanitation regulations. You will be responsible for training and coordinating inmate workers, assigning tasks, and monitoring compliance to promote operational efficiency and maintain the integrity of food service standards. This role requires attention to detail in reviewing production and temperature logs, ensuring adherence to Aramark's strict food handling guidelines, and verifiably meeting special dietary requirements.

The Corrections Oversight Worker ensures timely and efficient delivery of meals while maintaining a secure and safe environment by following all security policies, including locking storage areas and securing kitchen equipment and keys. This position requires excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and guide inmate workers effectively, ensuring quality and quantity targets are consistently met. Additionally, you will participate directly in meal preparation, assist with inventory management, and support requisition processes to maintain adequate food supplies.

Aramark offers opportunities to grow professionally by developing new culinary and supervisory skills, working independently with minimal supervision, and engaging in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. The role is physically demanding and may require lifting, bending, and long periods of standing. Safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage are vital components of the position, ensuring both personal and facility safety standards are maintained at all times.

Joining Aramark means becoming part of a team with a strong sense of purpose and a commitment to fostering an environment where employees can thrive. The company prioritizes professional growth and offers a supportive atmosphere where employees contribute to meaningful work that impacts communities positively. If you are committed to excellence, safety, and collaboration, this role provides a unique opportunity within a respected company dedicated to making a difference.
