Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years Hotel Director of Revenue experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • At least 5 years managerial experience in field operations
  • Knowledge and background in operations and revenue management
  • Experience in employee training
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, reservation systems, yield management systems
  • Ability to travel when necessary
  • Currently reside in or willing to relocate to New Orleans, LA

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as Hotel Director of Revenue
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Managerial experience in field operations for at least 5 years
  • Strong knowledge of operations and revenue management
  • Experience in employee training
  • Computer literacy including Excel, Microsoft Word, reservation systems, and yield management systems
  • Ability to travel when necessary
  • Front office and/or revenue manager experience at a full-service hotel preferred
  • Multi-unit property management experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel and restaurant industry computer systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Present and discuss long-term goals and short-term action plans with Vice President of Sales/Marketing E-Commerce
  • Develop and present timely reports covering Revenue Management activities
  • Actively participate in SEC meetings and keep necessary individuals apprised of pertinent issues
  • Conduct global communication to revenue management teams on updates or global information
  • Lead bi-annual conference calls on updates, idea sharing, and performance status
  • Monitor the achievement of budgeted room revenue goals for all hotels
  • Take necessary actions to rectify revenue management deficiencies and maximize revenues and profits
  • Ensure room revenue forecasts are accurate within 5 percent variance
