Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in event planning or related field
- minimum of 3 years experience in event planning and execution
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with budgeting and vendor negotiation
- ability to travel up to 20% nationwide
- ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Phoenix, AZ or Fairfield, IA
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- familiarity with virtual and hybrid event technologies
- problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment
- strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- proficiency in budgeting and vendor management
- ability to work collaboratively and lead a team effectively
- familiarity with marketing and promotional strategies for events
- familiarity with hybrid or virtual event platforms
- ability to analyze event metrics and ROI for continuous improvement
Job Duties
- Organize and manage all aspects of conferences and events, ensuring alignment with leadership objectives and brand standards
- lead event logistics including budgeting, venue booking, food and beverage arrangements, audiovisual equipment, décor, and conference materials
- coordinate travel arrangements for attendees and staff
- ensure consistent messaging and branding across all event-related communications
- consult and negotiate with vendors on event-related matters to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
- maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders
- assist management with site visits and contribute to annual event calendar planning
