Founded in 1981, Cambridge stands as a trusted partner to independent financial advisors, providing industry-leading tools, compliance, and transition services that empower advisors to deliver exceptional service to their clients. The company thrives on core values such as integrity, commitment, flexibility, and kindness, which guide every decision made to ensure that financial advisors remain at the heart of their operations. With offices strategically located in Fairfield, Iowa, and Phoenix, Arizona, Cambridge boasts a diverse community of more than 4,000 producing financial advisors supported by approximately 900 associates. This unique structure fosters a personalized approach to service, maintaining a 4:1 advisor-to-associate ratio that ensures each advisor receives tailored support. Cambridge is known for its growth-focused and internally controlled business model, holding a reputation as one of the largest and fastest-growing firms in the financial advisory industry. Their commitment to non-proprietary investment products and comprehensive support enables advisors to select from a broad spectrum of investment solutions that best meet their clients' needs.

The role of Corporate Event Planner at Cambridge is a vital position that contributes significantly to the successful execution of the firm’s conferences and events. Working remotely with a hybrid work setup based in Phoenix, Arizona or Fairfield, Iowa, this full-time role offers a salary range of $70,000 to $78,000 per year. The Corporate Event Planner is tasked with organizing the creative development, planning, and implementation of conferences and events that align with leadership objectives and maintain the firm’s high standards and brand identity. A key responsibility includes assisting with the flagship national conference, Ignite, an event that embodies the company’s core mission and vision. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to coordinate complex logistics such as budgeting, venue selection, food and beverage arrangements, audiovisual setups, décor, and conference materials. The planner also handles travel coordination for attendees and staff and ensures consistency in messaging and branding across all event-related communications. Furthermore, this role often involves negotiating with vendors to secure quality services at cost-effective rates and maintaining strong relationships with both external partners and internal stakeholders. Beyond event execution, the planner supports future event strategies through research and incorporation of emerging trends in the event planning industry, including hybrid and virtual event platforms. With a commitment to continuous improvement, the Corporate Event Planner also analyzes event metrics and return on investment to enhance future event success. This position offers the opportunity to travel up to 20% nationwide and work in a collaborative environment that values creativity, innovation, and excellence. Cambridge enhances its employees' quality of life by providing a premium benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, paid vacation and sick time, and eleven paid holidays, all designed to ensure a balanced work-life experience and promote individual success.
