As a well-established company headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, Alcon values employee engagement and community involvement, which are integral to its corporate culture and brand image. The company operates in the healthcare and eye care industry, providing advanced surgical, pharmaceutical, and vision care products globally.

This is a 9-month onsite contract position based in Fort Worth, TX, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale programs such as Alcon in Action in Spring and the Alcon Children’s Vision Program in Fall. The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of multi-site volunteer events, ensuring smooth coordination of logistics, participant engagement, and compliance with company standards and policies.

The manager will oversee procurement and distribution of essential materials including supplies, equipment, PPE, signage, and branded items to support event operations. On event days, the Project Manager will facilitate onsite coordination, troubleshoot issues, engage with partners, and enhance volunteer experiences to foster positive community impact.

The position also demands meticulous tracking, reporting, and summarizing of impact metrics such as volunteer hours, participant numbers, and community outcomes in alignment with Alcon’s Social Impact reporting requirements. Maintaining detailed documentation and knowledge repositories supports continuous improvement and scalability for annual programs. To succeed, the Project Manager will collaborate closely with internal departments including Communications, Facilities, Security, Risk management, HR, and Legal to ensure events are safe, well-organized, and compliant with corporate policies.
